The Online Safety Audit service has been built by and is managed by Seven360 Ltd. (www.seven360.co.uk).

This Policy explains when and why we collect information, how we use it, the conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure. Who are we?

Seven360 is an IT company based in the North East of England and has been providing services to schools for over 10 years. We have a contract with Northumberland County Council to provide the Online Safety Audit services to schools in Northumberland. We also contract directly with schools outside Northumberland. Seven360 is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. All information and data by which you can be identified when using the Online Safety Audit will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Subcontractors

We do not use subcontractors to provide any of the Online Safety Audit services.

Summary

How do we collect information from you?

The Online Safety Audit system as a minimum, requires one Designated Safeguarding Lead to be activated on the system. The DSL can create additional teacher and governor users who will be managed by each individual school. A full description of the information we store is detailed below.

When you access the Online Safety Audit service, we use a unique username and password to ensure you receive a personalised experience and can only access data and services that you have been authorised to access. We also record the time you logged in and which applications you use.

What information is collected from you?

Teacher Data: Name, email address and optional telephone number.

How is your information used?

We do not access or use your data or files in any way other than that required to enable you to use the Online Safety Audit applications, for example to:

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as set out in any relevant contract for service provision.

Who has access to your information?

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties. We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Sharing your data

We do not share the S175 Audit service information with other companies.

How can you access and update your information?

The accuracy of your information is important to us. We are constantly working on ways to make it easier for you to review and correct the information that we hold about you. You have the right to ask for a copy of the information Seven360 hold about you (we may charge a small fee for information requests) to cover our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you. Security in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information

When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it is treated securely. All information is encrypted and protected in transit with 128-bit encryption on SSL (When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear on your browser).

Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. Where we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of the Online Safety Audit, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

Our user account access mechanism only allows users to access the data and services they are authorised to access.

Use of Cookies

Like many other websites, the Online Safety Audit uses cookies. Cookies are small pieces of information sent by an organisation to your computer and stored on your hard drive to allow that website to recognise you when you visit. They collect statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns and do not identify you as an individual. For example, we use cookies to store your country preference.
